After many years of practising Aesthetic Medicine, I still love learning. This allows me bring you the latest developments and treatments, working with clinically proven, industry-leading products.
I offer a bespoke, private consultation to suit your needs. I can address your concerns about skin texture, pigmentation, acne, wrinkles and volume loss, facial contouring and hair removal.
Here are some of the treatments I offer. There isn’t space to list them all, so please ask if I can help you further.
Wrinkles Relaxers
Anti-wrinkle treatment is popular because it is quick, effective, medically proven and safe. It can deliver dramatic results fast. The products I use are TGA approved and have been in medical use for over 20 years. When wrinkle relaxers are used, fewer new wrinkles are formed and new ones are kept at bay too. Wrinkle relaxing treatment is now the accepted foundation of an effective anti-aging regime, which also includes a good skin care range and sun protection.
Dermal fillers
Dermal fillers are used to harmoniously restore lost volume and structure to the face, and enhance certain features. These products treat deeper folds, fill hollow spaces and can also improve scarring. They are commonly used to enhance the cheeks, lips, chin, jaw and under-eye area. All the products I use are well known, safe and well-regarded, temporary substances. They are sterile gels, which are plant-based and contain artificially manufactured Hyaluronic Acid (HA). HA is a naturally occurring sugar complex found in human tissue. This complex attracts and holds water and combines with collagen to improve skin hydration and elasticity. The gel is combined with an anaesthetic, which makes the injections comfortable.
Face Peels, Skin Needling and Laser Treatment for hair removal
Freckles, sun spots, senile warts, hormonal pigmentation and even acne vulgaris and rosacea respond very well to treatment with physician strength face peels. This therapy has been well understood and documented since at least the 1960’s. Peeling is essentially an accelerated and controlled form of exfoliation. Peels induce faster sloughing of damaged, superficial skin cells and the destruction of these specific layers of skin uses the natural inflammatory reaction to produce new collagen. The end result is an increase in skin volume, which tightens superficial skin layers and leads to a reduction in superficial wrinkles, fine lines, large pores and a reduction in unwanted superficial pigmentation.
Skin needling is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). This regenerating treatment uses multiple, tiny needles, often on a roller, that differ in size and safely penetrate the layers of your skin to kick start the body's natural wound healing response. This results in the production of new collagen. This is a well accepted and documented treatment that is used to improve skin volume and texture, improving scarring and pore size and fine lines. The most commonly treated area is the face but other areas of the body can also be treated. I am now able to offer Radio Frequency Micro Needling using the Endymed Intensif machine at my rooms at the Medical Skin and Laser Clinic in Kalamunda. I am also now offering laser hair removal using the Cutera laser machine http://cutera.com.au/home.aspx, which is one of the most respected brands in the cosmetic industry.
Cosmeceutical Treatments
Cosmoceuticals are a new and exciting approach to skin care, they are cosmetic products that contain medically proven active ingredients to improve, refine and rejuvenate your skin. These ingredients have been clinically proven and are peer reviewed in respected medical journals.
An effective skin care regime is not necessarily expensive. The science of good skin lies in just that, the science, not in the marketing or magazine images.

Spider Vein Treatment
Sclerotherapy is the mainstay of treatment to these unsightly and uncomfortable thread and spider veins. Your veins are treated by micro-injections which are well tolerated by most people. This is an ‘in cinic’ treatment, it is minimally invasive and allows you to return to work on the same day. You can expect a 60-80% improvement in the veins treated, over a 4-6 wk period, without scarring. The veins that are treated disappear completely but new veins can form. I review all my patients myself in 4-6 wks and offer a top up treatment at no additional cost.
Sweat Treatment
Excessive sweating at room temperature can be triggered by heat or emotion and then can become uncontrolled. This is called Hyperhidrosis. People that suffer with this condition suffer physical effects such as cold and clammy hands and wet feet and can have difficulties gripping a pen or steering wheel and they can also suffer psychological and emotional effects as they adjust their lifestyles to accommodate this condition. This can complicate both social and business activities.
I can advise on medical antiperspirants, Iontophoresis and botulinum toxin treatment for this condition.
Cosmetic Mole Removal
Cosmetic mole removal is the removal of a non-cancerous mole that may be irritating or otherwise unacceptable using electrosurgery and is performed under local anaesthetic, generally not using sutures. This is a well tolerated and popular minor surgical procedure and very good results are normally obtained.
Keloid or Hypertrophic scars feel thick and hard and can be pink or violet or event purple in colour and can also be uncomfortable or painful as well as unsightly. They are characterised by excessive fibrous tissue formation at the site of injury to the skin. The most effective treatment of these scars is with serial cryotherapy, steroid injections and silicone taping and I have helped countless patients using these treatments. If this is a concern of yours, get in touch today.
